Fly in

Here is a picture of two planes paricipating in an air show for the Memorial Day Fly In hosted every year in Tuskegee. I have planned my trip around this event in the hopes that i might meet any surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen as well as enjoy the wonderful arial performances of the skilled pilots.
This is an arial photo of Moton Airfield. This airfield was used by the original Tuskegee Airmen and is where i intend to go skydiving, courtesy of Opelika Skydiving.
This is a photo of several Tuskegee Airmen posing in front of a single engine P-40 Fighter Plane. The Tuskegee Airmen were trained and stationed in Tuskegee on Moton Airfield, another one of my planned stops.
This is a picture of the Booker T. Washington monument located near the center of campus at Tuskegee University. I plan to examine this statue when i visit the university. An engraving at the base reads "He lifted the veil of ignorance from his people and pointed the way to progress through education and industry"
